The firm was using their Healthcare Access Database to manage their healthcare insurance customers and policies. The database was on the Microsoft Access 97 platform. Access 97 is outdated and has trouble functioning properly on newer PCs. Marsh needed a solution to allow them to use the system on all PCs in their offices. It was critical that the solution have a seamless implementation.

Solution

Healthcare Access Database

The experts at alligatortek offered three different solution options. The advantages and disadvantages of each solution was provided in detail and discussed. Marsh chose to have the Access 97 database converted to an Access 2003 database. The staff at alligatortek converted the database, thoroughly tested all functions of the database, and fixed all programming code that was not functional. The database was delivered to Marsh and alligatortek provided assistance in moving the data from the Access 97 database to the new Access 2003 database. This provided a seamless implementation while keeping the downtime of the database to a minimum.
